The Nutcracker
Peter Wright's interpretation of this magical adventure was given some much needed TLC in 2018. The workshop refurbished a number of the enchanting backdrops from this festive tale, which came as part of ongoing refurbishments to this timeless classic.
Wooden panelling with decorative features painted to match the existing piece of scenery. A real central column rises in front of the painted one during the performance so it needed to have a stronger sense of trompe l'oeil.
