I am a scenic artist working for The Royal Opera House.

Alongside this I have assisted with scenery for The London Coliseum, Birmingham Royal Ballet, Sadler's Wells and Wilton's Music Hall.

In 2017 I had the opportunity to assist with a large scale mural for British painter Chris Ofili, in his ‘Weaving Magic’ exhibition at the National Gallery, London.

I grew up on the Yorkshire Moors and have been painting for twelve years, but since working for the ROH, I've become familiar with a wide range of paint finishes, as well as approaching large scale pieces of scenery; whether it be laying out materials like linen, plastic or silk, sometimes spanning 20m, applying texture to sets with numerous facets, or using spray guns over 245m² of ply flooring.

I have workshop, teaching and lecture experience from universities and schools such as Wimbledon College of Art and Sevenoaks School, Kent.

In May 2016, I painted a wall-based installation for the Arts Council funded initiative, 'Hospital Rooms'. This was shown alongside artworks by renowned YBA Gavin Turk, OBE fashion photographer Nick Knight and Turner Prize winners 'Assemble'.
